A tool to assess the utilization of instructional materials (UIMQ) was administered on the 240 sampled teachers. The findings of the study revealed that qualification, working experience and gender of the teacher had significant influence on the utilization of instructional material. The paper has also made some recommendations on how teachers’ can be motivated to use more instructional materials.
