The highly sensitive method of adsorptive stripping voltammetry (AdSV), with differential pulse steps, was performed at a mercury film electrode and has been applied here for the determination of trace molybdenum content in selected wild mushrooms. Fruiting body caps of 12 selected macrofungi species from Basidiomycetes have been investigated. Molybdenum content of investigated samples was determined in the range of .6 to .38 mg kg−1 of dry matter. The highest value of molybdenum content was found in Leccinum rufum and the lowest in Lactarius deliciosus.

Voltammetric behavior of selected biologically active organic nitro compounds, namely 2-nitrofluorene, picric acid (2,4,6-trinitrophenol) and metronidazole, has been investigated using direct current voltammetry (DCV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) at a polished silver solid amalgam com...
Preparation of a Preplated Bismuth Film on Pt Electrode and its Application for Determination of Trace Aluminum(III) by Adsorptive Stripping Voltammetry
Adsorptive stripping voltammetry (AdSV) was successfully explored for the determination of aluminum(III) in sodium carbonate solution (1 M) on a preplated bismuth film electrode (BiFE). Microscopic investigation displays that the morphology of the preplated bismuth film on Pt electrode relates ...

Analysis of Some Selected Persistent Organic Chlorinated Pesticides in Marine Water and Food Stuffs by Differential Pulse-Cathodic Stripping Voltammetry

Adsorptive stripping voltammetry of nickel with 1-nitroso-2-napthol using a bismuth film electrode
A sensitive procedure is presented for the voltammetric determination of nickel. The procedure involves an adsorptive accumulation of nickel 1-nitroso-2-napthol (NN) complex on a bismuth film electrode prepared ex-situ by electrodeposition. The most suitable operating conditions and parameters su...
Anodic Stripping Voltammetry of Heavy Metals on a Metal Catalyst Free Carbon Nanotube Electrode
Anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV) determination of Pb2+, Cd2+, and Zn2+ was done using metal catalyst free carbon nanotube (MCFCN) electrodes. Simultaneous Determination of Antimony(III) and Molybdenum(VI) by Adsorptive Stripping Voltammetry Using Quercetin as Complexing Agent
A sensitive and selective voltammetric method for simultaneous determination of Sb(III) and Mo(VI) using Quercetin (Q) as complexing agent is described. Optimal conditions were found to be: pH 3.7, CQ=6.0 µmol L−1 and Eacc=−0.10 V. The LOD (3σ) for Sb(III) are 0.076 and 0.040 µg...

Voltammetric and electrochemical gravimetric selective detection of interactions between Tl(I) and guanine and the influence on activity of DNA drug-intercalators
The interactions of Tl(I), a well known toxic species, with selected oligonucleotides were examined. The oligonucleotide sequences selected for the investigation were taken from gene hOGG1 responsible for repairing of DNA damage. Cyclic voltammetry was particularly useful, since nitrogen N-7 in g...
